In the hope of making a meaningful contribution to its community and the world at large, Solisti Ensemble has actively engaged with non-profit organizations since its founding days. From arranging benefit concerts to working with students in local music festivals, a big part of the ensemble’s focus is to make great music a means to an even greater end. Through Solisti’s efforts, funds have been raised to build schools and homes, provide musical instruments and enable education in places like Haiti, Kenya, Honduras, India, and El Salvador. The ensemble has also worked with local organizations benefiting disabled, hospitalized, and socioeconomically disadvantaged members of their communities, not only to raise funds but to engender well-being and enrichment in their lives through the power of music. A portion of every concert goes to support a non-profit organization of the ensemble’s choice.
Partnership with FOCOS
The Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS) is a non-profit 501 c(3) organization launched in the United States in 1998. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, affordable orthopedic care to those who would not otherwise have access to such treatment. The cases we treat are among some of the most severe in the world—many that no other team of surgeons would dare touch. With the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers and generous donors and partners, we are transforming the lives of patients throughout Africa and the world.
At FOCOS we are passionately working towards a world where everyone has the opportunity to stand tall. To date, nearly 50,000 patients have been served by FOCOS and with the generous help of our supporters and volunteers we continue to transform lives across the globe.
Partnership with EnoB
It has been a true pleasure to collaborate with EnoB. We both know what MUSIC can do to people. We both believe in the great abilities of MUSIC, especially among the young and unfortunate ones. Please visit www.ENOB.org to learn about this great organization or click on the image “Let’s Play with Music” for a brief description.
Exposing finest and exciting classical music to young students for best music education! This has been our motto since day one. Unlike other classical music concerts, young students are the majority in our concerts. It's not rare too witness dozens of kindergartners sitting through the entire programs in our concerts. At least once a year, to reach young audiences, we offer a free concert. Also, even during our major performances at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center, we offer complimentary tickets to students. We want to assure that financial burden does not become an obstacle to a quality music education.
The Solisti Ensemble engages in partners at home and abroad to foster greater awareness for musical education and philanthropic endeavors alike.
'There should be no distinction between social consciousness and artistic excellence.'
